Marketing Manager

 

The role

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to be responsible for the planning and implementation of our marketing plan to drive awareness of Bournemouth School of Marketing through schools, colleges universities and education agents.

Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Manager is responsible for building a network of key partners and optimising the commercial results of these relationships. The ability to understand the correct sales channel and student mix is essential to maximise revenue for the school.

You will recruit and lead a team of marketing executives and be responsible for planning and executing the monthly and annual marketing plans, optimising revenues through promotions, network marketing and PR activity. You will work closely with the digital marketing team and leverage the results of their activities to secure sales within the individuals, universities and corporate training markets.

The Person

You must have at least 3 years previous marketing experience with proven success in delivering highly targeted and innovative campaigns within the education or training sector. You must be highly organised and able to draw upon excellent interpersonal skills to lead, mould and motivate a team focused on delivering results.

• Marketing experience (3 to 5 years);

• Experience of writing marketing plans;

• Experience managing marketing teams;

• Experience of at least 2 aspects of marketing (direct sales, education, training, digital);

• Customer service focussed;

• Performance-oriented with a track record of delivering results;

• Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal);

• Excellent management and interpersonal skills;

• Open to new learning and ability to adapt quickly to change;

• Must possess the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing;

• Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Office Administrator

 

The role

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic administrator who possesses excellent administrative and organisation skills and an exceptional eye for detail to take charge of the smooth and effective running of our school office. As a key member of the team, you’ll be involved with the coordination of all administrative activities, including reception, premises, HR administration and light accounting. 

The Person

You will need strong inter-personal, organisational and administrative skills and a thorough working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft CRM preferred. You will need:

• A positive, friendly, can-do attitude;

• Two years experience in a similar role;

• An ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and students;

• An awareness of the importance of professional confidentiality;

• Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
